Pricing

Pricing depends on the jewelry that you pick. Because the jewelry options can vary so much and is anatomy dependent, we will only go over pricing in person where we can show you all of the options available and their prices. Even though we mainly operate by appointment only, you are welcome to walk in during business hours to see the jewelry and get an idea of pricing. Another option is to schedule a free consultation! That way, we can guarantee you won't have to wait and we will have time to go over your anatomy and the jewelry options available to you, as well as the pricing.

Piercing Parties

We are now offering piercing parties!

Whether you are celebrating a special occasion or just have a group of people that want to get pierced together, we would love to host your piercing party! Booking a piercing party allows you to book during or outside of our regular business hours and get a dedicated staff to help you and your party. The time frame will depend on how many people are in your party. Soft drinks and light snacks will be provided. Piercing parties require a $250 deposit. $150 of the deposit is to cover the staff needed for your party and the other $100 goes towards your piercing fees.

Aftercare

• Please do not twist or turn your jewelry. Your fingers are the #1 cause of infection, so avoid touching it at all costs.
• Redness, itchiness, and swelling is expected. Ibuprofen and hot showers help a lot with any discomfort or swelling.
• Yellow, white, or red "crusties" are also normal. This is just dried discharge and nothing to be alarmed by.
• Sterile saline is the only thing we recommend cleaning your piercing with.
• DO NOT use rubbing alcohol, Hydrogen peroxide, Dial soap, Bactine etc... all these cleaners are too harsh for your piercing and are not suitable for puncture wounds. Stick with all natural cleaners like the Saline provided at the studio and hot water from the shower.
• Saline should be sprayed directly on the piercing 3-4x a day. Make sure you gently dab it dry afterwards. Avoid q-tips unless you see crusties, then you can gently use a q-tip to remove the debris.
• Do not expose your fresh piercing to any open bodies of water for at least 2 weeks.
• Avoid getting make up or any beauty products on the piercing.
• Keep it away from pet dander.
• Do not remove the jewelry for any reason during the healing process. Each piercing has a different estimated healing time and each unique body heals differently. If you are unsure if your piercing is healed, you can always ask your piercer!
• If you are experiencing black or green discharge, fever, or vomiting please seek medical help immediately. These are signs of infection.
• Downsizing most piercings is essential for a successful healing. Come back in 4 to 6 weeks for a check-up so we can determine if it’s time for your downsize!
• Oral piercings: follow the same aftercare instructions listed above for the outside of the piercing. For the inside of the oral piercing, make sure to brush your teeth regularly and rinse thoroughly. If you use mouth wash, switch to alcohol free. Drink lots of ice water!

Piercing Minors

All minors MUST be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

We adhere strictly to our minimum age requirements for piercings: 7 and up for earlobes and 14+ for all other piercings. All kids ear piercings are by appointment only!

• Ages 7-9 we only pierce on Tuesdays. We do offer tandem piercings if requested in the notes when you book.
• Ages 10 and up we pierce 7 days a week.

It is CA state law that a parent or legal guardian accompanies a minor, and there are a few documents we require to establish legal guardianship, preventing the unlawful practice of piercing minors without appropriate permissions/consent.

• The minors birth certificate (a copy of it is fine)
• The minors school ID (a virtual school ID is fine on the school portal or a hard copy)
• The parents government issued ID

If the minor is under 13 we do not require a school ID for them, and if for some reason your child doesn't have a school ID, please contact us.

There will be no exceptions on this policy and if you come to your appointment without the required documents, you will be asked to reschedule.

Q & A

A. Each piercing experience is different for everyone. No two people have the same pain tolerance or the same anatomy. Because of this, it is hard to honestly give an accurate idea of the pain level. What we can tell you is that most of the time, piercings feel like popping a large pimple. It’s definitely nothing you can’t handle and it is over in seconds.

A. Each piercing has a different estimated healing time, but it is important to understand that these are only estimates. Healing times can vary drastically depending on many different factors. How one person experiences healing a nostril piercing will not be the same as another with the same piercing. Proper technique, quality jewelry, and correct aftercare are ESSENTIAL for healing a piercing in a timely manner. We can provide you the proper technique and quality jewelry, but it is ultimately up to you to follow through with the aftercare instructions provided.

A. Ages 10 and up.

A. As per CA state law, a minor MUST be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Legal guardians must bring legal guardianship paperwork if applicable. The minor must have their school ID and birth certificate present at the appointment. The parent or legal guardian must bring proof of ID. There are no exceptions.

A. No prep necessary! You will be provided with aftercare instructions and saline spray to clean with after.

A. No. Numbing creams only numb the surface of the skin and since we are doing what’s called a “puncture wound,” it won’t even be effective past the first couple layers of skin. Another reason is that your skin or piercing could have some adverse effects if the numbing cream enters the blood stream. We don’t recommend applying any topicals to the spot you plan on piercing before your appointment.

About the Owner

Amanda Robone was born and raised in the Conejo Valley and has been piercing in Ventura County since 2016. She started her journey in Simi Valley and has worked in a few different shops from Main Street, Ventura to Moorpark. Ever since she was little, she was fascinated by piercings. She grew up watching her mother pierce everyone they knew. By freshman year in high school she already knew she wanted to be a piercer. Her dream was to one day open her own little piercing studio in her hometown of Thousand Oaks, and finally that dream has come true! Amanda takes the art of piercing and piercing safety very seriously and values every single client who puts their trust in her and her studio.
